Description
Sisters Kayla (22) and Becka (18) have survived the alien invasion, which drove most people insane, but now they must fight the deranged “jackers” who feed only on the living or recently deceased. Jackers, humans infested with aliens, are deterred by only one thing, water.
On rainy days, Kayla and Becka use a railroad pump trolley to trade food and ammunition with their neighbors. Mill Run is teeming with jackers, but Kayla is determined to fortify the town and regain control of their lives.
